Problem with wifi on ubuntu 12.04, intel centrino 130n
Samsung 350U2B laptop with intel hm65 chipset.
Wi-Fi works out of the box (Intel itself writes that Wi-Fi drivers are built into the kernel of a version older than 2.6), but it only works for a few minutes (I don’t know what it depends on). Then he does not write that he has disconnected, he simply cannot connect to any site! In ubuntu 11.10, a similar problem is observed, but it was solved by disabling the N mode in Wi-Fi, it did not help in 12.04.
Can anyone help? I want to switch to 12.04, the battery on it lives longer, the kernel is newer (with better support for Sandy Bridge) and generally more pleasant.
In ubuntu 11.10 iwlagn driver, in 12.04 I don't remember

I had similar problems due to a crookedly configured AP, a pci-board with rt2000, as a driver: hostapd. The essence of the problem: the firmware works with a crooked algorithm for adjusting the transmission speed / delay. After some time of accumulation of delays, the packet cache self-blocks. I was helped by limiting the speeds allowed for use, then I slightly reduced the frequency of transmitting "beacons", everything was selected by the method of unscientific poke. If this problem is on any access points, then look for information in the logs, describe the problem in more detail.
