Problem with touchpad after updating linux kernal to version 4.*. I do not know what to do?

I'm installing Linux Mint 17.3 on my laptop. There out of the box is linux kernel 3.19. But because of this, the touchpad does not work at all on the laptop. This is solved by installing a new kernel.
I put 4.6 yes 4.5 or generally higher than 4, then this happens.
The GUI slows down a bit, and the screen flickers, especially when you move the mouse. I don't know what to do.
There is no discrete vidyuhi. Only Intel Hd Graphics 520.
I'm trying to install firewood, but there are a lot of dependencies. Maybe someone knows how to solve the problem?

I have issues with touchpad not working after installing Ubuntu solved by adding "i8042.nomux=1 i8042.noloop=1" to /etc/default/grub:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash i8042.nomux=1 i8042.noloop=1"
Then sudo update-grub and reboot

Hello, I also have problems with the touchpad on mint 17.2 / From the socket, if the note is powered, everything is fine. Also recently installed Nvidia produced. Maybe because of this.
