Problem with LTE on smartphone

I recently purchased a Nokia Lumia 920, installed a 4G SIM card, turned on the necessary tariffs, but I could not see LTE on my smartphone. Somewhere I briefly read the information that at the moment Megafon has disabled LTE for smartphones due to the impossibility of transmitting voice in this mode or automatically switching modes. Is this really so, maybe someone in the "topic"?
