Problem setting up the local version of the site. problem with ngrok
I am a tester and worked mainly on the portal stage server. decided to set up a local version in order to have access to the latest changes not yet uploaded to the stage server.
What it consists of: nginx, redis, postgresql, node.
I use: Mac OS X 10.9 Chrome latest
The server starts, everything is ok. only access is not through a direct link (registered in ./hosts ) but through localhost:5000
When I ping the URL I get: $ ping -c 3 local.uprise.com
PING uprise. ngrok.com (173.255.204.192): 56 data bytes
The problem is that traffic goes through ngrok.com when it shouldn't. ngrok is some kind of tunneling software that I have never used or installed on my Mac. It's not about the service provider: I tried from different points - one result.
Are there any suggestions for a solution?
