Printing from Windows via CUPS, how to override settings?
Greetings!
Installed Epson 1410 on Linux, CUPS driver + gutenprint 5.3.2.
It has the ability to use 4-color printing (without the use of lights - I now have a wash in them). In default parameters I put Four color mode.
You need to print on it from Windows.
I add a printer through "Devices and Printers" -> "Add Printer". I drive in the network address " printserver:631/printers/Epson1410 ", I select the appropriate Epson 1410 driver. A test page is printed, everything is ok.
But it will not apply the CUPS settings, but uses those set in the Windows driver.
Tell me how to send to print, I don’t know how to put it correctly, bypassing the standard driver or how to force CUPS to override the parameters set in the Windows driver?
