Presetting / configuring variables before output View YII2/TWIG?

inside the View, most of the elements are rendered via widgets and the code for the most part looks like an array-footcloth interspersed with HTML. With the transition to TWIG, the situation was aggravated by the insane syntax of these widget settings (all markers have different tastes and colors - this syntax just kills me) well, there is also a pack of twig-"bonuses". I want to put the widget settings in a separate layer. I see this for myself as PreRender in the settings of which you specify (php/xml/rss/twig) what to render (where to redirect) the settings / configuration of these widgets. Well, i.e. I want to remove all unnecessary from View.
1) What is the correct name of this intermediate stage/layer (if it has a name)?
2) How is it customary to implement it within MVxxx?
