PostgreSQL creating one index for multiple columns of the same type?

Good afternoon!

If you create one index, of the same type, for several columns of the same type, this will not affect the search speed when querying for each column, just like if you make an index for each column?

A composite index is not 2 different indexes. Partial use of a composite index allows it to be used as an index on 1 field, but only for 1 field, not 2.
