Postfix and multiple instances

Hello.
I have launched multiple postfix instances via postmulti. In theory, different copies have different configs. Can I send mail via mailx using different instances?
Yes, what I want to get in the end: I need to send mail from one server using a different source-ip-address (smtp_bind_address option). So I think so far in the direction of a solution through postmulti.
