Postfix and display username
Hello ladies and gentlemen.
There is a mailer based on postfix + dovecot, with mysql attached, and here's the moment that upsets me a little - the displayed username when sending a message.
When using an email client, everything is simple - the display name is set when creating an account and everything is fine, but if the same user suddenly needs to send a letter through the web interface, you need to specify it separately in the web interface settings, which is not convenient and somehow not right, after all uchetki are almost created by means of postfixadmin and in the same place at creation the user name is set. Question: is it possible to somehow use the default username assigned during creation in postfixadmin? well, or at least use it if no name is specified, because all this data is available from the database.

What web interface are you using? You can make it so that when you create an entry in postfixadmin, an account is created for the web interface with the specified name. Or you can make it so that when creating a web interface account, the user name is pulled from the entry created by postfixadmin.
