Post editor like wordpress?

Are there plugins similar to wordpress, telegram or vk post editor to use in your project (attached images what I would like)?
How would you implement something similar? I came up with an idea with textarea (or regular divs) and buttons that will insert the necessary code (image) using js, but there is a lot of code, for such a form, not counting style sheets, and even more security problems, because you need to fix the necessary code with handles no one bothers anymore.

Such things for the frontend are already implemented - they are called wysiwyg editors, wordpress seems to use tinyMCE, see the link .
