Porting AOSP to Nokia X2. How to implement and where to start?

So, there are (as I understand it) the sources of the Nokia X2 kernel, AOSP version 5.1 pulled from Google's Git, Ubuntu Linux and many questions. One of the main ones is where to find a manual (or at least a plan of actions that need to be done) for porting new versions of android to an existing android phone?
(I ask you not to throw slippers, it’s better to poke your nose where you need to dig)
