Polylang - Problem adding main page for one language?

Hello! I am using the Polylang plugin for WordPress, the language structure is as follows:

-Polish (main);
-English;
-Deutsch.

Everything seems to be working, but for some reason specifically for the English language, I can’t add the main page. Everything works for German, but for English everything works, EXCEPT for the main page (attached a screenshot from the admin panel).

When switching to /en/, I get an error that the page was not found, because for some reason I cannot add a translation for English, by analogy, as I did with the German language. Tell me please, what could be the problem? Googled, googled, never googled.

It seems that in Polylang English comes by default as the main one. Look in the Settings, if the asterisk remains in its line, then click it to Polish. Otherwise, the page will not be created, since your Home is already going as if in English. I had something similar, but it was a long time ago.
And one more piece of advice. For your pages in other languages ​​to appear in sitemap.xml, see this article: https://starper55plys.ru/bez-rubriki/multiyazyichn... . True, then the plugin will constantly require you to add a translation to it, but you can ignore this, since this does not harm anything, and any published article will be indexed, unlike if they are saved in the plugin.
