Pointless backups with diskcryptor, how to win?

All infrastructure on Windows Server 2012(r2).
The boss read a lot of websites about stealing servers, etc. I decided to encrypt all servers with the diskcryptor program. This program encrypts all partitions, and after that, when the server starts, you need to drive in this same password, and only after that Windows will boot. After that, I started checking my backups. But ran into a problem. After I turn out the backup, the same situation occurs: "black screen and you need to enter a password when encrypting partitions" BUT this password does not work. I tried to connect these disks and look through diskcryptor and he sees these partitions and they are not encrypted. Tried to encrypt and load, but still to no avail. Maybe someone faced the same problem. I will be very grateful. And then somehow I can’t sleep without working backups ....
PS - backups are made by acronisom. Before that, there was a regular ntbackup, but these backups were not visible at all.

On a specific issue, I will not say anything. I'll tell you about the options for solving the situation as a whole:
1. Try another software. VeraCrypt, slightly outdated TryeCrypt
2. What if you back up not the full disk image, but the data itself? Are they open after the download has taken place? At least I have.
