PHPStorm - how to make it use more resources?

PHPStorm 1.0 (under Ubuntu 10.04) slows down, sometimes freezes for a few seconds - the cursor does not blink, the entered text does not appear. After a couple of hours of work, it starts to fail: when pressing Enter, it does not translate the line, does not give auto-completion for the classes for which it normally issued it at the beginning of work. Restart helps. But it gets on your nerves...
It seems like he doesn't have enough resources. But at the same time, almost a gigabyte of memory is free, and in terms of the processor in htop, it is in 10-11th place when the processor is not fully loaded.
Can I somehow make it take more resources and work faster?

I can say from my own experience that you will get a faster and better answer here - devnet.jetbrains.net/community/wi?view=discussions

I had a similar problem with the resharper, on 2GB it was free .5 and permanent brakes, I put 2 more on it, now it’s free about 2 all the time, and it still slows down (albeit less). The processor is also never 100% loaded. I tried to write to them, as I understood - a well-known "bug", I did not wait for an answer.
