PhpStorm doesn't see changes in files in commit tab?

I have linux mint, the storm is installed manually through the archive.
When you open the Commit tab , it's empty, says either initialize git or connect.
The project has a .git folder
From the console, if you write git status, everything works there and you can see it.
Also, if you open it in a storm through the top panel: Git -> Uncommited Changes -> Show shelf and the Local Changes tab there, then there will be a similar picture as it should be in the Commit tab on the toolbar.

What could go wrong?

Check the box Use non-modal commit interface
