PHP frameworks and remote?

Hello. A little less than a year I have been working with a backend in PHP (namely, the Symfony framework). I tried to find myself a remote job, but almost all projects are "Edits on Wordpress", "Edit cart on Opencart".
Do I need to learn CMS to work remotely? Or maybe I'm looking in the wrong place?

Try to look for a job not on freelance exchanges, but on labor exchanges like HH and analogues.
Frameworks are more often used for long-term projects that require maintainability and extensibility. Therefore, the developer is hired not for a couple of weeks or a month, but for a permanent job.

WP is always plentiful and everywhere, but cheap. With the framework, there are also a lot of orders and everywhere. Symfony is of course less common than yii2 or laravel, but you can often respond to yii2 or laravel and persuade them to Symfony. As a rule, in these cases, any popular php framework is needed.

You are looking in the wrong place, I constantly see freelance projects on frameworks, not everything is true on symphony, but it is also normal on it. Apply for vacancies, they also often consider remote work.

Where are you looking for it?
Yes, there are noticeably many small CMS orders, and they often clog the update feed. Set up filters. There is enough work in all niches.
