PHP Development on a Web Server on a LAN
Hi all,
There are Macbook with Netbeans, Sequel pro (MySQL client), SmartGIT. I am working on a resource-intensive project and decided to move it to a separate PC. I installed Centos 6 there and actually nginx, MySQL, PHP-FPM, etc ...
You need to code on netbeans and be able to open the host through a browser (+ shell scripts).
I'm currently mounting it all via sshfs. And everything seems to be fine, but from time to time there is an excessive load on the processor: either netbeans or system kernell. It's not comfortable to work at such moments.
Server on home network, login/password access is redundant. It would be more convenient to mount the directory when booting mac without any questions. Has anyone tried other methods?
I also tried nfs, but as it turned out there is a problem with access rights (the mounted folder is read-only).
Can you advise respected % username% ?

I didn’t understand a bit of the task, but wouldn’t autofilling the project on ftp work? I develop it myself. True, there are actually 2 copies of the project - one on the server, the other on my machine.
I work through banal ftp. Of the benefits - a minimum of hemorrhoids during setup and work from anywhere, as long as the laptop is with you.
I can recommend one great item or another great item to choose from =)
I worked with files over NFS without any problems, even on a 2 megabit channel. Although, of course, a normal locale is better. I think it's still worth digging into NFS. I had no problems, because on the server and workstations Ubuntu and FreeBSD.
