PHP Archiver for a large number of files?

Good evening.
I want to transfer one heavy site on Drupal from one hosting to another.
Recommend an archiver in PHP, which does not die from a large number of sites. I've tried a lot of things already, nothing copes with this task.

There are no such archivers, php is limited by hosting settings and most likely falls out either by timeout or memory size.

If the new location has ssh, use mc to ftp to the old hosting and just copy.
