Photoshop requires you to update some vector layers before opening a document. What it is?

Guys, when opening a PSD document with one of the layers in the form of a capital letter "A", Photoshop
recommends "update some vector layers before opening" .
What does it mean? If I click "do not update", then the letter changes its appearance and becomes smaller and thinner.

unlicensed photoshop. Truetype doesn't work.
What? TryeType is a font format, how can it "not work"?
Alexander , in your system (in the windows / fonts folder, or whatever you have) there are some fonts that were bundled with the operating system. Usually vector.
You can download fonts from the Internet ( random site with fonts ) or buy on disks and put them in this folder.
This can be done manually or with special programs . Programs can immediately connect / disconnect fonts in batches, depending on the project.
(If you put crooked fonts or too many fonts in there, the system may slow down. Yes, in 2021, the operating system can be stupid as hell because of fonts.)
Nobody prevents you from using raster ones if they are supported by your programs and operating system.
Suppose Vasya Pupkin set himself the font "as in diablo2" and made a text layer with this font.
You open Vasya's PSD and photoshop seems to tell you:
you don't have a font like Vasya's.
And that Photoshop can pick up some font instead of this fancy one from those that are available in the system, or convert the layer from text to vector.
He does not voice the third way to you, but in general you can get the desired font somewhere and add it to your system.

The license has nothing to do with it, put the missing font into the system and restart Photoshop.
