Photos from a smartphone sent through the VK application are half gray - what is the reason?

Yesterday morning I sent normal photos to friends, but in the evening, for some reason, new photos suddenly began to "gray" when sent by half. I downloaded it to my computer and everything is fine. When viewed in the gallery - everything is in order. What to do?
1. I can't reset the camera cache - "Calculation" has been going on for 10 minutes
2. Update VK did not update to a new version.

I solved the problem by clearing the image cache in the application itself in the settings + disabling image compression. Maybe someone will come in handy.
