I have Siemens Gigaset C470IP and D-link DPH-300S at home.
Advantages of Siemens:
1. The base unit and the charger are different devices; you can place the base closer to the entrance to the room, and charge the device even on the bedside table by the bed.
2. When installed in the charger, displays the clock on the screen. True, a bright screen can interfere with many. But I like that when I wake up at night, I can see the time. At the same time, the numbers are quite large, and my eyesight is not the best.
3. Time synchronization with the Internet.
Disadvantages:
1. No Caller ID.
2. Has only one RJ-45 connector, i.e. in fact, it exclusively occupies a port on the switch / modem.
Advantages of D-link DHP-300S:
1. Caller ID.
2. Can be included in the gap between the switch and the computer. True, on the Internet they complain about the decrease in network speed. I didn’t check it myself, I hooked devices to it for which speed is not critical.
Disadvantages:
1. No screen backlight. Very uncomfortable in dim lighting.
2. Recently, it began to freeze, perhaps a standard disease with power capacitors.
And, in general, more interesting models appeared in the Siemens Gigaset line. But I already feel sorry for the money :)
