Phone for travel (interested in a durable case and long battery life)?

Soon we will travel to Italy by car. I had never been on such trips before and the thought came to mind that it would be nice to take some phone with a long-lasting battery with me, otherwise both my girlfriend and I have smartphones that will not last a day with gps turned on.
As usual, when searching, additional wishes appeared. I immediately wanted a strong and strict classic case (“male” one, heavier). Perhaps metal? I do not really like these rubber red-green-yellow devices.
I started looking from Nokia, switched to Philips. Conflicting reviews all around. Either the network does not catch, then these “tenacious” batteries, without saying a word, are sharply discharged, then something else ...
Maybe someone has experience? Can you recommend a specific model? Preferably not expensive. Without excess. Need to call. The maximum flashlight may still be of interest.
Thanks in advance.
So far I have looked at this one myself: Philips Xenium X623 - but the toad is slightly suffocating, to be honest. It would be twice as cheap. Yes, and just the same "more than". It is not clear why the camera is on it, all sorts of wap's, gprs's, Bluetooth's, etc. Without them, apparently, the phone can not be found at all?

I advise you to look in the direction of Xenium from Philips, there are models that are simply unkillable. Everyone already knows about the battery that they have the longest playing.

phone from the “Charging? No, I haven’t heard” in standby mode is enough for 2.5-3 months, depending on the quality of the network.

x325
The network catches cooler than all my previous phones.
Very active use - the battery lasts a week plus, standard - two weeks.
Appearance .
There is a flashlight.
About 100$. Also due to additional unnecessary garbage (camera, player, etc).

I won’t tell you twice cheaper ...
I myself use nokia 3720, the battery lasts 4-5 days during normal use, there are no gprs and other things in it. The case is protected, with a metal rim. Fell well a few times. No glitches were noticed. The buttons are comfortable, quite large and separate, under men's fingers.

I bought Nokia 1280 just for such purposes
. From the pros:
+ price
+ long battery life (I charge every 2-3 weeks)
+ flashlight (often helps out)
+ FM receiver (although it is not really needed)
+ small size
From the minuses:
- one speaker for talking and hands-free calls (from the back you can hear it better than from the front. I had to tightly close three holes under the cover on the back)
- I read that there are problems with the firmware for old devices.
Perhaps one of the "grandmother phones" will do .
I have not seen budget devices in a metal case.

Just recently there was a review of the Nokia 101 phone. Perhaps it will suit you.

As a variant of the Samsung GT-E2370, the model is old, but I live with the saving mode turned on for a month without charging. Dust and moisture-proof, moderately shockproof (I flew several times on asphalt / concrete from one and a half meters, I'm alive). Moderately brake. The call is loud.

Yes, indeed, Philips is very cool, not killed for a day in the net (there was a case at the station) this is a stunned state after an iPhone, I think to buy it as a second phone for my wife www.e-katalog.ru/PHILIPS-XENIUM-W6610.htm the price is not big for him, I wonder how long it lasts without replacing the battery, or rather the battery itself, for a year or two)
