Actually Subj. WiFi on the Dlink DI-824 VUP + router began to fall off regularly. It is treated by juggling the power supply, but somehow it is annoying. There is the latest official firmware, the WiFi range changed. Maybe someone will advise something, maybe there are third-party firmware (surface googling did not find them). I don't really want to buy a new router. Thank you.

Maybe the chips are overheating?
