The PC was turned off under load, without shutting down correctly, the plug was simply pulled out of the network, what can happen as a result of this? Which PC components are the most vulnerable in this case?

In modern computers, power supplies are quite advanced, so there should be no problems with hardware.
Therefore, information remains the most vulnerable - the probability of damage to individual files and the file system is quite high.

I'll tell you a story from my life. Meng secretly turned on the computer (WinXP OS) from his mother, once he hears - his mother is coming, turns it off, he slows down and nothing. De-energizes - something happened to the hard drive. I just don’t remember to what extent: to repartition or just reinstall.
The probability of a hardware failure is extremely small, but this is what happens if you turn off the power when the computer rustles with a screw.
UPD. Winchester still works today.

The chance that something will die is very small. I personally encountered the death of the ddr3 bar and another video card. But these are special cases, 90% that everything will be fine.
