PC Inventory with Spiceworks over the Internet?

We want to implement spiceworks in our chain of stores.
Based on the article, we make a local spiceworks agent so that it dumps a report on the PC to the server.
The report file is created but not sent to the server.
What could be the problem?

What config is required?
