Pattern books - what to read?

And please advise a good and accessible book for a beginner on patterns! (Now I'm studying JS / jQuery, in the distant future I may be planning ruby or python).

"Design Patterns" (E. Freeman, E. Freeman, K. Sierra, B. Bates) - very easy to read, more pictures than text, examples in elementary Java. Again, Eric Gamma and Richard Helm spoke well of her.

In fact, Gang of Four is only 200 pages long. Everything is clear and on the shelves on the example of C-like languages. In my opinion, after 15 years, the book has not become outdated at all.
