Path to IT Architect?

Good day. I am a junior web developer. I am currently writing in php. I want to ask experienced people for advice on how to start moving towards an IT architect. I understand that it is impossible to achieve this in a year or two.
What skills, besides the skills of a programmer, should be developed? Which books to start reading, etc.

You need to constantly improve your skills.
Read the news, try new things, follow best practices, quit if your team lead is bad and you are slowly developing.
Never work in small teams or alone.

It's too early to move towards the architect, you better move towards the Senior Developer and ask yourself how to reach the Senior level, and after reaching this bar you will understand how to develop into an architect yourself.

I would also suggest switching from PHP. PHP was originally designed (if the word even applies to PHP) for beginners. A primitive language for creating home pages.
A big boost to understanding would come from learning other technologies and languages. Still, despite the fact that the development of PHP is taking place, it is taking place in a rather closed and limited crowd. Somehow there was an article on Habrahabr: which is better, ORM or direct queries to the database. I read it out of curiosity ... Well, yes, with such ORMs it is really easier and more convenient to write raw SQL queries.
In general, if you do not break out of PHP, then the view will be severely limited. It will seem, for example, that an ORM is a useless thing, since the PHP community has not yet grown out of the crutch-bike ORMs. Etc.

It's just an experience. June to the architect as to the moon
Develop, read, experiment, read, work on various (and not on the same) projects, read.
