Passing Java exam 1Z0-808 or 1Z0-803?

Does it make sense to take Java 8 certification (Java SE 8 Programmer I 1Z0-808 instead of Java SE 7 Programmer I 1Z0-803), especially Java SE 8 Programmer II | 1Z0-809 is not yet available, apparently, for delivery?
Do I understand the sequence of delivery correctly:
* Beginner level (OCA) Java SE 8 Programmer I 1Z0-808
* Prof. (OCP) Java SE 8 Programmer II | 1Z0-809
* Then you can choose EE master courses on topics of interest, for example, OCM Java EE 6 Enterprise Architect Certified Master

I'll tell you from my experience in Russia: I attended about 15 interviews for the position of a Java developer and I was never asked for a certificate. Moreover, I tried to list my favorite books and completed courses from Coursera in my resume and after that I ran into additional questions that were asked to make sure that I really took this or that course or read this or that book. Passed interviews for the position of Junior developer, and for Middle (2nd job).
One more observation: a turnip on github with personal projects significantly reduces the number of stupid interview questions and usually turns the interview into an interesting conversation, but not always))
Regarding interviews for Senor developer and above - I don’t know anything, maybe the certificate is important there)

It depends on the place of work and aspirations. If you want to work in an integrator, then this will be a necessity for you due to various reasons. If for a line in a resume, it’s also not bad, but everything will depend on the position. If you have a career start, then it will be a good plus for a resume for an invitation to an interview, and then - how the card falls ...
In any case, this experience will be useful for you if this is your first exam at a certification center.
In any case, the knowledge that you will receive for certification will not be superfluous.
Regarding exams - you are a little mistaken :-)
You can sometimes take any exams - just by registering for them, but you will get the appropriate status only if all the necessary conditions in the prerequisites are met.
Personally, I see no reason to give 7-ku for my own. This is a "life-long" exam, and when 8 comes into production, you will be in the highest demand and will calmly prepare for the 8 master.
I strongly recommend that you immediately try 8-ku, because due to innovations, a certain class of applications will be written many times faster ...
And why did you decide that it is impossible to register on 1Z0-809? The button on the site is valid, so registration is possible.
