Parent page template for custom_post_type?

Good afternoon. Please help - I'm confused with post types in wordpress.

I need a structure, let's say - site.ru/home/home-1 (do not explain the Cyrillic alphabet in the URLs - this is just an example).

I create a custom post type with the " houses " slug, the necessary item appears in the admin panel, houses are added. I go to the address site.ru/home/home-1 - everything is fine, it works, but if I go to the address site.ru/home , then a 404 error appears. I need to set my own template for this url and post type (page? what should it be?). For houses to be the parent for house-1 .

How to do it right? In which direction to google?
