Owncloud setting remote storage for users as primary?

In the ideal case, I need to split all user files between disks, access to which I did in the form of ftp, smb, but the catch is that external disks are shown as separate folders, and I need to have a remote root directory for each user ftp or smb location, not a separate folder.
I gave requests to google, but did not help much (examples of requests: "how to set external storage as primary on owncloud", etc.). There are no special results.
In the usual case, it's easy to assign each user one or another drive, but not the main one, when registering.
Can anyone come across, help with advice or a solution.

Have you tried mount? Make it so that in the system the folder of a certain user is a mounted remote folder.
