Own PDF converter service, any solutions?
Good afternoon, colleagues.
Interested in a PDF to docx conversion service. Format, the user put the file in a folder or uploaded it via the web and received a Word file as the output. Of course, I want it for free) Are there open source analogues of ABBYY Recognition Server?

In general, the PDF format is unsuitable for reverse conversion.
You can still try to get the text out of it - there is, for example, an open pdftotext - but it will only be text, and it's not a fact that it's not torn to shreds.
To collect this chaos back in the form it was before turning into PDF, you will have to apply purely empirical hacks. ABBYY, focusing on customers, can afford to delve into this rubbish. It is useless to look for free and / or free analogues.
