Owl Carousel 2 how to catch next/previous slide event?

Good day to all! Pliz tell me whether it is possible in Owl Carousel 2 to catch the event of the previous / next slide and hang functions on them?!???
PS Specifically, I need to make a slide counter, but maybe it can be stirred up somehow without catching events, in a simpler way??!?
