Orphanage software
Our company decided to donate several computers to an orphanage. Different machines like Intel i3, 1-2 GB of RAM.
All have licensed Windows and nothing else.
Any advice on how to equip them with software? What programs can be useful for children?
For learning how to work on a computer, for general development and in general. Maybe some tutorials, free encyclopedias?
For children of all ages. Internet connection will be.
Thank you.

In general, if there is Internet, then it would be nice to put some kind of antivirus and firewall there
LibreOffice
Gimp
Inkscape
gcc + netbeans
Chrome
Toys will supply themselves
Put some decent toys under windows and use them as entertainment.
For each PC, give a fast USB flash drive with some kind of analogue of edubuntu with a set of pre-installed software and use it for learning, browsing, etc.
windows will still break, infect, and so there will always be a working standard version at hand. Yes, and teaching, having different operating systems for comparison, is more useful.
Ask the orphanage. If there is no specialist there, then leave Windows, especially since you have it licensed. You should ask them how they plan to use the PC. Maybe the computer will be in the nursery, and then, however, games cannot be avoided. If there is no video, buy a simple card for 1000 re. Or the administration will go, then an office is needed.
Put some Robocode. Blender to the heap.
And don't forget uTorrent :3
