Organization of VOIP-SIP alerts?
Good afternoon, the essence of the matter is in choosing a system for organizing IP-SIP notifications. There is a server on which it is planned to install Asterisk and there will be many separate buildings that will need to be notified.
1) As an option, can I use Cyberdata 011098 speakers?
2) If you can use it, then the topology of the system will be like (Asterisk Server->Switch on the object (or server)->Alert speaker?
3) Or are there any solutions for VOIP notifications with an open API, ideally?
Because SCADA will be written for all systems and I would like to integrate notification into it. Thank you
(Sorry if the questions were stupid or incorrect)

Well, there are SIP intercoms. Basically and in your case it is possible to find the decision. Cyberdata 011098 is one of them. You somehow distorted the topology depicted, at least from my point of view. I think the switch is a physical component and Asterisk is a logical one. In fact, the scheme is this - IP accessibility from the Asterisk server to all speakers. And already switches provide it.
1) Judging by the text, the speakers are suitable. However, it may be cheaper to install a translation amplifier, which is connected to the asterisk via a sound card and chan_alsa.
2) The scheme you proposed is correct, however, consider the option with a translational amplifier.
3) Asterisk has an open API and bindings to different languages and frameworks. In fact, if we are talking exclusively about notification, the asterisk is not needed.
1) Igor, in addition to cyberdata, there is a Russian ROXTON SX-480N which is perfectly compatible with Asterisk and 3CX. In fact, it is an "all-in-one" device, combining a SIP client / server, a 480 W sound amplifier and a fire alarm system (if a fire alarm must be provided according to the regulations).
2) Yes, but Ilya correctly noted that the IP network is better > Broadcast amplifier > Alert speakers
3) It all depends on the specific task. The concept of "notification" is very broad.
