Ordering a card by mail to "before demand" in another country?

You need to order a card by mail while abroad. I am in one country, but not in one place, but moving around the country. By the time the card arrives, I have already changed the address many times.
Is it possible to somehow order it "on demand"? That is, so that she comes to the post office in this city, and then I pick her up - without delivery home. Pickup.
Or like this: order to my current address in this city, and ask the owner to tell the postman when the card arrives: "the person has already moved out and asked you to hold the parcel at the post office and he will pick it up later." If there is no addressee, then the parcel seems to be stored at the post office for 2 weeks or a month before it is sent back. if they send it at all.
How to do what is best?
I have no desire to run somewhere, open a mailbox in this city, pay something for it later ....
I just want to get a card, somehow, and as simply as possible.

In all normal countries, mail is delivered to a box or simply left at the reception, no one stores mail
