This is a long-term attack to compromise an asset who subscribed to redteam.
Now many do not spend millions to develop tools or for a team of high-class hackers, why spend if there is a high probability of getting into the network through social engineering, which includes phishing, at worst, throw a flash drive, go to interview, get a tech support job or janitor and install a hardware keylogger for the admin.
