Openwrt + wake on lan?
Hello.
I decided to set up wake on lan on netgear wndr3700 with openwrt. But something doesn't work.
I took down the etherwake package and installed wol.
I connect from the local network via ssh to the router, then I enter
wol -p 65535 -h 192.168.1.255 00:00:00:00:00:00 (mac network card of the laptop connected by cable). The laptop is in sleep mode.
And then nothing happens.
Please help me set it up.
Thank you!

Can the laptop wake up from the network?
On which side the cant is determined relatively simply: tcpdump is turned
on on the awakened machine
Send a wol packet
tcpdump should catch the UDP packet FFFFFFFFFFFF (16 times the MAC address).
If you caught it, it’s a laptop problem, it doesn’t know how or it’s forbidden in the BIOS to wake up from the network.
If you don't get it, it's a router problem.
