OpenVPN server on Linux. Server and client on the same PC, with the PC connected as a client to its own server. Really?

Actually a question.
Is it possible to connect as a client to your own OpenVPN server, and all this on the same machine.
And if possible, will the traffic be encrypted when accessing the Internet.
With a remote server, it is clear that everything will be fine. Is it possible to crank out such a chip on one PC?
Thank you for attention! Don't drink too hard))

"Check" is real.
Traffic will be encrypted, but only on the "path" from itself to itself. To the provider and then it will go as it would go without such a tunnel.
To be honest, the answer to this question is not just "simple", but "obvious" and somehow even strange to see such a question here. // moreover, it's even strange to me that so far there has not been a single sarcastic comment. I even had a hard time keeping up.
