Opensource implementation (framework) for Entity Attribute Value?

The EAV data model has been known for years, it gives flexibility, there are rumors that EAV (Relational DBMS) gives a speed gain compared to NoSql DBMS.
WARNING QUESTION: Are there any open source implementations (or frameworks) of this data model?
Everyone knows MVC frameworks :) what about EAV ?
or as an analogy, there is Elastic Search, why not be some kind of library for working with EAV ?
