OpenCart wrong file type when loading autourl.ocdmod.xml module - why?

I'm trying to load a module for CNC links from the admin panel, but something swears. Maybe you can somehow upload via FTP? I tried to find an answer on our Internet and in English, but I didn’t really find anything. Although there are issues on the github about this.

Ah, I understand. The 3rd version does not recognize the module names directly. That is, you need to:
1) Name the module install.xml
2) Zip the file into install.ocmod.zip - that is, add the ocmod part
3) Download and enjoy

I don’t know how in the third, but in the second you can put ocmods in the system folder simply via ftp.
It's more convenient for me to edit them later if necessary.
