vqmod for 2.x is evil, if you have more modules, besides this, then conflicts often arise that are almost impossible to resolve due to vqmod.
the best solution is to find the same module without vqmod, I don’t think that this module is singular and only under vqmod )

Check access
vqmod/cache and vqmod/logs should have all 777 read/write permissions

For the future, Opencart version 2.xxx does not work properly with VQMOD. Tested a million times on all versions of opencart . I have the same problem and the site crashes. Developers refuse to translate to ocmod.
