Open drive under exfat on android?

Hey!
I bought a Beelink GT1 Ultimate Android TV Box for Android 6. A lot of places say that the android supports the exfat file system. In reality, the 1TB disk does not see the prefix. On the screw all sorts of video files for viewing. I tried different programs from Google Play, but I couldn’t see it. Paid did not try, or rather tried some in trial mode. Please share your experience, how did you solve the problem. The disk is connected via a regular usb cable usb-a - usb-b. Ready to consider other file systems. Tried ext4/ext3, same result.

Does he see a regular flash drive?
perhaps USB power from the set-top box is stupidly not enough to spin up the disk.
