Only route / is opened, and on any other route, the server issues 404. What could be the matter?

The whole thing would be in the server settings, if not for one thing - the middleware works out, i.e. redirects to /login. The problem appeared after opening the project in ubuntu, before that there was Windows.

The information is not enough, but try these solutions:
1) through the settings in apache, as suggested in the previous answer, here is a small instruction, starting with "Setting up virtual hosts (VirtualHost)"
otakoyi.com/blog/ru/ustanovka-i-nastroyka -web-serv...
i.e. you need to make /laravel_site_dir/public - the root directory
2) or as a solution to the second option at the link stackoverflow.com/questions/23837933/how-can-i-rem... . This solution is not ideal, but from the category of "to work"
