Online workflow environment for collaborative development - what to choose?

Hello.
The situation is standard:
- We work together on a project with another person - we discuss tasks, outline upcoming actions, exchange documents, lists, files, etc.
All this happens on Skype :)
Accordingly, if necessary, refresh the data or download the file again - you have to rummage through the chat etc., well, you understand)))
Please advise something that will help bring this interaction to a normal form.
Maybe some kind of online service, or something like that.
Something simple and reliable.

Google drive, Google docs? Or you can generally make yourself a private github repository or bitbucket
