Online store: "from scratch" vs "engine/framework"?

Does it make sense to start writing an online store from scratch? The technology stack will be .net + mssql, maybe something else.
At the same time, there is a high probability of collecting all the bumps, stones, childhood diseases of ready-made engines for this. But you can do whatever you want.
Or is the best solution to take a ready-made, with the source code, ideally, the engine / framework of the store and finish it to the requirements of the customer? Which may be very specific in the future. Integration with 1C is still planned.
Implementation will be done by 1 person, not a team.

Look at the demos of systems like CS-Cart, Magento, Opencart etc.
Then their code, and if you feel that you will pull the development - do it for yourself, it's always better.
And if you don’t pull it, then the engine, it makes no sense to write a low-functional imperfection having analogues from professionals

But you can do whatever you want.
If you understand the framework, you can also implement anything. Modern frameworks are flexible and don't limit you in any way.

Judging by the quantity of goods, it will be a more or less serious business. Hence the conclusion that to blurt out your own is to get stuck picking shit with your crutches while sitting on a huge bicycle :)
The choice of .Net seems strange to me. In fact, I don’t know, maybe there are good stores there and everything is good with support, but as for me, it will turn out to be more expensive (much more expensive, perhaps an order of magnitude) than taking open-source solutions on the same php (Magento, presta-shop, opencart etc)
