On what is it worth developing an electronic diary?
There is a task: to make an electronic diary (work with students, assessments, distribution of tasks, etc.) + work with the database, respectively.
In the layer of web development, I'm not oriented in any way, but what language can you recommend as development tools? I suspect that you need to look towards node.js? Or not?
PS I'm also looking in the direction of python + django, it seems like it will be useful for general development ..

What do you know. In general, doing a diary from scratch without programming knowledge right away is bad. The first pancake is lumpy as they say.
And so you can at least Ruby & Rails at least a node, at least take PHP. At least in C# you can.
Go to codecademy.com, take a course on ruby on rails, html/css/js, angular, python, django, postgresql, php finally.
And choose what you like best.
I was trying to start python with djanga, looked at PHP a bit, settled on rails.
Before that, I wrote my web accounting in c# asp.net mvc that works well in Azure.
after reading several books on RoR, I'm going to write long-term construction on it.
