On the basis of what to implement a multi-vendor (marketplace) platform to push Amazon?
Not being a specialist in OOP and a connoisseur of the wrong side of CMS, I faced the fact that it is very difficult to decide on which platform to implement the planned project. Each programmer pulls into his "sect".
The task is to create a multi-vendor marketplace, where people can create their own mini-shops-showcases and offer some goods. To avoid ridicule that de decided to press Amazon, no. For the red word. In fact, this will be a very local area where handy guys should be able to present their creations to the world (well, to realize - read, sell).
Among other things, the project also plans to develop (that is, you will have to write and add something both in the blog part and in other plugins).
The project does not yet know if it is possible for monetization. I just want to do it. But since reimbursement of expenses is not expected, I want to find the most budgetary solution and slightly plan it for myself. But with the expectation that something else can be done with it.
While stuck in a bunch of WordPress + WooCommerce + Dokan (in order to implement multi-vendor). But hefty WP is hard to change and resource-demanding (it slows down even though I'm the only one crawling on it on the server).
Maybe look at Joomla + some bunch of VirtualMart and something else? Not faster, will it be more promising?

It does not matter on which CMS you will implement your plans. The main thing is that you have enough skill to work with a specific CMS. Well, or that you have a person who understands the CMS you have chosen.
Jumladrochers will now say "yes, yes. only Jumla, vp - shit!". WPers (like me) will hate Joomla and pull the blanket over WordPress. ModX-ers will generally pour shit on everyone :)
With such a formulation of the question, you are unlikely to be able to get an answer that suits you.
ps: Well, if the skill is about the same (or there is no skill in any of the CMS and you plan to teach) - then look at the availability of documentation, the volume of the community and the presence of plugins. VP, by the way, has the largest community and plugin repository in my opinion. Almost any task has already been implemented by someone and is easy to google.
