On branch master/Initial commit/nothing added to commit but untracked files present. How to be?

I'm trying to upload telegram bot files to github. Created a repository , did two commands :
git init
git add .
On the 3rd: git commit -m "first commit" , an error pops up

git, on the other hand, clearly says that there are no changes in the tracked files. I guess they created a repository, added files, and then created a project in webstorm
