Octobercms + repeater = external table. How to implement?

Friends, please help me understand.
There is a posts table, there is a post_files table to it, a one-to-many relationship.
For files, I use repeater in the admin, but by default it is saved in a separate (json) field, and not in a separate table.
How to implement saving in a separate table, has anyone come across this?
This moment is not in the documentation, but suddenly there is some kind of "hack".
