NVIDIA Shield prevent deactivation?
I now have two NVIDIA Shield tablets in front of me - one with an explosive battery and the second, which was sent to me to replace the first one. And there is also a leaflet with a warning that after activating the new tablet, my old tablet will be deactivated and generally die and turn into a brick.
Actually the question is - is it possible to save the old tablet? As soon as I give him the net, he will die a heroic death.

The first option is to fix the old one, and keep the new one in reserve
. The second option is to connect the old tablet to a virtual machine / another computer, install a Firewall with full restriction and see what data is walking, then block the activation / deactivation command or just go to the Internet for Nvidia , transfer the rules to the main computer, activate the new one and hope.
In the worst case, get a bunch of consumables
